Sunil is a second-year student at HBS. Prior to business school, Sunil worked at Bain & Company, consulting with management teams and investment firms with a focus on tech, media, and telecom strategy. He also spent time at Microsoft working on real-time collaboration features. In addition, he has worked at several early-stage startups in sales, management, and technical roles. Sunil graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Computer Science.
Ken Auspaker, Finance
Ken is a second-year student at HBS. During the summer of 2008, Ken interned as an investment banker in the M&A group at Evercore Partners, focusing on M&A advisory assignments across a number of industries. Prior to HBS, he was an investment banker at Putnam Lovell in the financial institutions group. Ken focused on providing M&A advisory to firms in the financial technology, asset management, hedge fund, and brokerage sectors.
His current interest is in the use of technology to support the financial markets. Ken holds a B.S with distinction in Policy Analysis & Management from Cornell University. In his spare time, Ken enjoys physical fitness, surfing, rowing and traveling.
Rick Armbrust, Panels
Rick is a second year at HBS. Prior to HBS, Rick spent four years at Microsoft doing a mix of product management and product strategy as part of the Marketing Leadership Recruits program. He focused on online services, including MSN.com, Live Search, and Hotmail, and most recently was responsible for content and advertising strategy for Virtual Earth and Live Local Search. Rick also spent 18 months at Tribune Publishing doing a range projects for the CTO and worked as an IT consultant at Waterstone Consulting. Rick holds a B.S. in computer engineering from Northwestern University.
Allen Hughes, Panels
Allen is a second-year student at HBS. For his summer internship, Allen is
working at Best Buy, focusing on business development and strategy for the
computing and home theater product lines. Prior to business school, Allen
spent four years at Gateway and one year at Yahoo!, holding a variety of
positions in operations, product management and sales. His passion is for
technology products and services and how they make our lives easier and more
enjoyable. Allen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with
Distinction from the University of Iowa. Originally from Montana, he is
married and enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking and being outdoors.
Helene Duval, Marketing
Helene spent 2 years managing marketing and communication for a website customization software publisher and 5 years working at Whirlpool on consumer marketing and service. Before joining HBS in 07, she was CRM and internet manager for Whirlpool Europe. She is spending her summer internship at Apple, within the Retail Stores department.
